The same goes for plugin developmentAfter 20+ years in the Emacs community, I often have the feeling that a relatively small group – maybe 50 to 100 people – is driving most of the meaningful progress. The same names show up in MELPA, on the mailing lists, and in bug reports. This isn’t a criticism of those people (I’m proud to be among them), but it’s a structural weakness.
